Shows that the bottom 4, this season, are performing worse than last season.
Bottom 4 between them have 10 points (Burnley with a game in hand).
    Last season 23 points.

Exactly. They have big squads, but they choose not to play them, then they moan about not having recovery time .....
the sooner they **** off to a European super league the better in my opinion

I wonder if Saintsfan TV would work. Tom can be host, who else would be good on there for live streaming the game

Got to love Arsenal fans! I remember my only trip to the Emirates to see Saints in the cup (when Clyne scored a cracker). My daughter had got tickets via a work colleague, but she didn’t tell me he was an Arsenal fan, so we ended up in the gods surrounded by home fans. I’ve never heard such vitriol aimed at your own team than I heard that night (similar to that clip basically). Every player was “****”, the manager (it was still Arsene then I’m sure) was “****”, the club were going nowhere and they were “played off the park by a **** team from the south coast”. We were in fits ........ quite made my evening ..... :emoticon-0116-evilg:emoticon-0116-evilg

My goodness. Such love for their team. Mind you we have a few of them. A clutch of them perch behind me at St Mary's. I say clutch and perch because they are bird brained.

I can understand the complaints about Man Utd getting the 12.30 KO, off the back of a European game. That was somewhat unfair.

But the subs complaint just doesn't wash with me. Those clubs have the biggest, best and deepest squads. They would benefit from additional subs far more than the rest of us would. If they have a tired player, well guess what - rest them! No-one is forcing you to start Salah and Mane in every single PL game. In fact, if injury and tiredness is such a big concern, why did Liverpool and City make just three of the six subs between them yesterday?

I see the top teams are pushing for a third vote to allow 5 subs per game, with West Ham allegedly now looking willing to side with them, taking the vote FOR up to 12, 2 short of the magic number.
If voted through it could be implemented this season.

What is so sad about this is it's just more of the same crap of trying to gain ever more of an advantage from the so called 'big six'. As has been said many times on here, these clubs have an insatiable greed and just want more and more all the time. As Dave69 said "the sooner they **** off to a European super league the better". They really are a bunch of entitled, ego inflated and spoilt babies that crap themselves at loosing to the so called 'lesser' teams.

I bet this has gained more traction since that numbskull Jordan Pickford broke VVD and the 7-2 thumping Villa gave the bin-dippers. Add to that the brilliant Leicester 5-2 win over City and you have a perfect recipe for a humongous whinge-fest by Klopp and Pep. You have to feel sorry for them that this season just isn't quite what the poor dears thought it would be now there are a number of 'lesser' teams putting in great performances without the advantage of a superstar ridden bench.

Oh, and the pressure from playing all those money generating European games must be quite stressful for them. It must be really difficult when the 'One Title Wonders' Leicester look so good and even lowly Southampton are up there taking up valuable space. It just isn't right when the general order of things is out of balance and the status quo ain't quite what it was. Such a shame.

Either play the game as it is or get the **** out (along with your useless pundits) and go play with your super team friends in a silly Euro League somewhere else. Leave real football to the teams and loyal fans who understand what it really means to be a part of something special, because .....

Couldn’t have put it better myself, Kaito. If they get their way (and do Wet Spam have that big a squad?) it’ll just become a joke. Must keep the little clubs back in their place. Can’t have them upsetting the equilibrium. Must make that Leicester title an anomaly ......

Be interesting to see how the players all kick off about a super league. Let’s not kid ourselves, no Man Utd/Liverpool etc in the English league means (in comparison to now) no money in the domestic league from tv rights etc.

This will directly impact the players left behind who will go from there high wages to taking a huge cut, can’t imagine they will be impressed.

I guess that'll be the same in all the domestic leagues that would lose their top teams to a superleague - could be great all around really, will just take a few years to level out salaries. The days where one season in the premier league make someone into a millionaire could be gone for good. It also takes away some of the incentive for agents to be the influence they are, as transactions will be smaller when players move so we could see more players staying at a club longer, like the old days

Couldn't see it mentioned anywhere else, but Ward-Prowse has withdrawn from the England squad as a precautionary measure with a tight hamstring.

Doesn't sound too serious, so I would say this is actually good news as it gives our hardest working player some rest ahead of Wolves.

Yeah I think you’d get more one club players as not really much point in moving between the domestic clubs. If one of the super league teams wanted your player though they’d be gone like a shot.

I don’t see the players thinking it would be too great. Those who have made their money pre super league might not see the point in carrying on playing for a much lower salary and just retire
