Yes,agreed, but along with the change in ownership needs to come a change in fortunes on the pitch. Some will always find something to whinge about, but a sustained period of success will shut most of them up.
They'll do what they did last night ... ... go quiet for a while then come back with a list of negatives. There's someone this morning laying out reasons why Donald would've fabricated this email. They're seriously suggesting that saying the deal is agreed will have previous bidders scurrying back at the last minute. Dear me, this is from someone who claims to be involved in huge takeover deals etc. It's absolutely pathetic from people purporting to be Sunderland supporters.
Just depends on the situation , if everyone felt safe and things were back to something like NORMAL , the side doing OK I think you would be looking at least 18 to 20000 as long as the takeover was behind us . The new owners would need to install some belief and ambition then the crowds will build .
I’m NR of the 12k that renewed before the cut off. Everyone I’ve spoke to will be as well once they can go, regardless of the takeover. I think we’re pretty much down to the hardcore now and would may be only drop to 24k in this division. KTF
They will but they’ll do it behind I pointed out it could be a or b, I was only putting forward an alternative. the thing I don’t get is why? These people obviously have never bought or sold a major business, where things will change daily until the inks dry on the contracts, there is no logic at all in misinformation being put out, they’re not selling a mark 11 escort, and hoping to squeeze a few hundred out of a buyer, there’ll be firms of lawyers and accountants establishing the worth of the business, the warranties that will be in place, the funding etc etc etc, the work will be massive if they’re professional buyers, given the profile of professional football. if it doesn’t happen it’ll be because the price or terms are wrong for one party, if it goes through it’ll be at the right price at the right time, not when we would like it to be, sadly other than being supporters we’ve no interest in this transaction at all.
Have just heard that the deal is held up due to the new buyer not being sure if he wants a white or black Stetson with the cowboy outfit he is buying. Sorry lads couldn’t resist. Fed up waiting.
CatShit is so desperate to be liked he’d rather see the club burn. He must spend hours going from RTG to here absolutely raging
Come on D. White, or black would imply no taste at all really. The hat should be maroon, with a dark yellow stampede string, always providing of course, that the wearer is able to display an enigmatic, steely stare into the sunset.
What's this about cowboys and something being held up ... .... what we need is a pussy, or do I mean posse
He's off on one again over there, backtracking and trying to dictate the mood of the board. He's attacked me, as usual, so I'll respond on the RTG thread rather than this ... ... there's a good atmosphere on here I don't want to spoil.
Everyone I know that didn’t renew will almost certainly return once the current incumbents have left the scene and when allowed covid or no covid
I'll go back when covid resolved even if SD still at the wheel to be honest. I expect my seat back as well even though I didn't renew
