So my niece is self-isolating for 14 days as someone in her classroom bubble tested positive for Covid Just a reminder, Keir Starmer agreed with the Tories that we should send kids back to school
Conservative: Gives all the fishing contracts to party donors while telling you that a foreigner wants to steal your fish.
So either Trump has fired Defence Secretary Mark Esper in a tweet, or Esper tendered his resignation last Thursday in response to...something It does need to be said that Esper had previously refused Trump's demand that the army be sent against the protestors during the summer, so keep an eye on this one...
Kids back in school is having no effect here in Finland of any note and they have been back for months. They dont get enough of the virus going in them to spread it out from the throat because most show barely any symptoms at all compared to adults
How the **** have 4 states not finished counting? Alaska I get and Georgia is having a recount, but N Carolina and Arizona? What are they waiting for?
1. The obvious electoral voter crime in some of those states will take time to filter out the criminal from the valid (hardly a case of simply picking up each ballot and saying "yes/no" ) . 2. There is probably going to be recounting triggered in those states where there is no obvious crime (automatically due to the count gaps, those that were using those e-counting machines that had the software "issues" etc) . Plenty of time to do the above. For example, the 2000 elections did not get to the stage where the votes counted were trustworthy enough for Al Gore to concede, until December 13.
What obvious voter crime? Al Gore should never have conceded, either. That situation was a total robbery and one that they're trying to repeat.
Project Veritas is a friend on this one (quite the spectrum of electoral crimes being collected - could end up becoming a training manual for 'how to uncover electoral crime' ) . "Al Gore should never have conceded, either." He may not have pushed for enough recounts in states other than Florida (perhaps he would still lose Florida but made it over the line nationally) . Some have suggested that even Clinton in 2016 should have pushed for recounts (perhaps would not have changed the overall result but would have made the loss more respectable) . Anyway as I said, plenty of time to avoid another 2000 (whoever loses) .
Project Veritas is absolute nonsense from a convicted criminal. James O'Keefe is paid to produce far-right bullshit to mislead people.
1. Logic 101 ad-hominem 2. Not a good idea methinks if the Project Veritas statement that their organisation has never lost a legal case (defamation or other) , is true ...
1. It's not an ad-hominem. He's a liar with a conviction, so it goes to credibility. 2. O'Keefe has settled and paid damages to avoid losing. He's not a journalist. He's very obvious propagandist.
Ad hominem a la Logic 101 ... X saw Y stab Z to death in front of his own eyes. You cannot believe X !!! He was convicted of < insert crime here > . Fallacy : that X was convicted dues not change the fact the event occurred and was truthfully reported. CS undegrad, taught that 35 yrs ago (god where does the time go !!?? ) . "2. O'Keefe has settled and paid damages to avoid losing. He's not a journalist. He's very obvious propagandist." Someone who does it one every 50 court cases, is fighting wisely. Doing it one every 5 : money to burn +/- not very smart. So is he a 1 in 50 or 1 in 5 type of person ??
An ad-hominem is an irrelevant attack on someone. Somebody's credibility is undermined by them being a known liar with convictions for breaking the law while creating their propaganda. He's paid by the Trump campaign, too: https://archive.thinkprogress.org/d...0-james-okeefes-project-veritas-e8fbdb48e16c/
What are the exact convictions (by the plural I assume must be more than one) ?? That would point to whether your claims are ad-hominem or not. "He's paid by the Trump campaign, too: ..." Sadly in USA politics, nearly everyone there is to some extent on the payroll of those (domestic or overseas) that IMHO morally they should decline on principle.
He was convicted for Entering Federal Property Under False Pretenses, which he plead down from a felony. It was part of his bullshit ACORN investigation, which he ended up paying out damages and issuing an apology for part of. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/mar/08/james-o-keefe-settlement-acorn He has no credibility at all, even with those that align with him politically. His videos have been shown to have been selectively and dishonestly edited and he lies constantly.
