When you have a small squad and then have Phillips, Llorente’, Pablo, Shacketon, Raphinah, Rodrigo all out injured thats 33% of the first team squad. Think that's bad? Scotland were due to play the Czech Republic last month. The day before the match, their entire team was put into C19 isolation, yet UEFA insisted that the game go ahead without delay. They threw together a team in time. Never met each other, far less played with each other, & no time to train, far less prepare. Scotland won. Just, after a huge struggle. Totally unfair imo, but that's officialdom these days. Blazers who've never played the game making ludicrous decisions.

Yep agreed...very enjoyable match. Did you hear that @Eric Le Merde...Grealish was superb and absolutely ran the show ? Seriously though, he's undoubtably a massive talent who's living the dream playing for his hometown club.
I’d have to be honest and say I’d be more than happy to see him with us. Imagine what Bielsa could do with his talent
De Bruyne always gets the plaudits but Grealish is on the same level or perhaps even better. Remember Grealish was playing with players of a lower standard...now he has a few decent team mates he's looking very classy indeed.
I thought the problem with Grealish was he was a lazy tosser who never tackles back? But I am happy to be corrected on this as I've not taken much notice.
But surely if he was any good Southgate would pick him and England would look a threat? Oh yeah that would make Southgate look like he knew what was wrong.

He has skills and is a good player just, in my opinion, not a class act, a Bowyer of the current era, good but flawed perhaps.
