    Nice one. What I'm saying is, if we went up, this takeover would have been done and dusted ages ago. Current owners clearly see is as a Premier league outfit, so want something substantial.

    Think @Wheatsheaf has already been on to say that was an internal date which was pushed to another date so let's not get too disappointed if we hear nothing by Tuesday. The RAWA meeting on the 12th might give us an idea of what's happening though.

    Hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling the RAWA meeting might have a lot of "we aren't at liberty to discuss ownership at this current time" "However whilst Stewart is looking to sell, he remains fully committed, as we all do, to getting Sunderland football club promoted and to be a club the fans are proud of" etc.
