Bangladesh gravy then really, not one of the local ‘Indian’ restraint owners are from India.

Yeah I get that most are Bangladeshi but it's still called British Indian restaurant (BIR)base gravy. :)

Not up in Yorkshire or Lancashire...most Chefs are Pakistani not even Indian.

Cant stand Bangladeshi run Indians...their curries are always ****e in my experience.

The Bengali ones taste so tame, very bland...they don’t fuse the flavours right imo. Not saying all Pakistani curry places are great...but I’ve never ever had a decent one from a Bengali place. Only ever ended up in them coz I’m out of town in places not populated by Asians.

Agree about the take aways etc but was fortunate enough to sample some home cooking last year which was delicious...

Only downside was no chilled beers to wash it down with but hey ho :emoticon-0142-happy

Yeah home curries are the best. Home everything is the best, pakoras, samosas, biryanis...everything...if you get homemade you’ll prefer it over takeaway version

They are given the time to cook right...them herbs n spices need to fuse right.
