loved this 80s programme wouldnt be funny if they brought it back now with whats going on in the world ie gaddaffi etc etc come on itv remake this classic

 

There are so many shows and movies I loved in the 80s but bringing them back and re-making them would just ruin quality shows and people would forever associate them with the ****ty re-makes.

Just look at movies like Die Hard 4, The Italian Job, Poseidon etc. They were all nothing compared to their earlier originals

late-meant to say it would be brilliant if some script writter would bring this classic back re written for now be a huge hit if can get right comedy people do impressions

Yes, it would be great for novelty value to have it back but it just wouldn't be the same and the show wouldn't have the same effect as it did then.
