The fact that the international media has i) become aware of the existence of Gritty and ii) that the international media has been forced to explain the Philadelphia Flyers mascot (that somehow became an anti-fascist icon even before the election) to foreign audiences is just wonderful.

The end of Trump is a preview of how the Pffefel show will conclude. In ignominy.

I wish that were the case, but it is much harder to depose the Tories here than it was for Americans to take down Trump.

Their left is united behind one party, ours is fractured behind a number, plus a major nationalist party.

Only way the Tories get taken down without significant risk of ending the U.K. is for Labour, Lib Dem’s and Greens to stand down against each other in target seats, minimum.

As for Johnson the Tories will dispose of him themselves when he’s outserved his usefulness, unlike Trump none of this will have a lasting impact on him and he will be allowed to swan off into the tax haven sunset.

Johnson will be gone in January mark my words. (Note you heard it here first)

He wants to go.
The top Tories want him to go.
Biden will have **** all to do with him as he sees him as Trump's puppet.

But most of all WE ALL WANT THE USELES ****ER TO GO and take his **** cabinet with him.

He won’t be here by the next election imo, but January is too early unless he resigns. They will want him to absorb all the damage from Coronavirus and negative impact of Brexit first, then they will bin him in time for a new leader bounce for next election.

There is already talk about Tory MPs canvassing to get the 55 needed to write in to force a party Leadership challenge.
I think Johnson would welcome it because he can’t live on £150k, plus who also now knows he is useless.
Personally, I would be surprised if the party went that way, before the pandemic and Brexit have played out, as the next leader could be tarred by the same brushes.
You may be right about the left/liberal parties having to work together at the next election, and if it ends Tory rule I hope it happens.
The Tories are a strange bunch who can be at each other’s throats but who will always unite to put party before country.

That would be deliciously unmachiavellian of them for a change, that they would happily taint their new leader with the various current crises.

Could their deliberate dumbing down of their 2019 intake be coming back to haunt them?
