I’m sure klopp knows what he’s doing but 2 midfielders against city seems like it’s asking for trouble. They’re going to walk through the centre of the pitch against us, just imagine we’re gonna play very much on counter and hope the front 4 can do something
Was not expecting that. I did think that we might not see the ball much today either way and so Jota's pace and directness on the counter could cause them problems. Brave call by klopp though
I worry about our midfield. If the ‘3’ of the 4-2-3-1 do not put in a defensive shift, we will get totally over run in midfield.
Jota, Bobby and Mane are never shy with their defensive work. Salah often helps out too. Maybe Jota left, Bobby in middle and Mane right with Mo up top?
I think Jurgen knows what he is doing and is aware of the midfield situation. We have to want this more than them, the players are good enough, come on lads
