What the last few games have shown, as I've already brought up at least once, is our midfield desperately needs someone who can win the ball and then quickly get us on the front foot with a quick through ball Obviously there's the hope that Skipp becomes this player for us starting next season, while there's already a section of the Reddit crowd saying Kalvin Phillips could be this player while I'm suggesting Will Hughes could be a useful addition (and nobody is saying Harry Winks is this, so of course he's been played in this role for two years...) but we really need to be controlling midfield in games like today, or against Brighton, or against Burnley, or against West Scam, because the fact I can name four games where we didn;t from a short timeframe is something that will probably cost us long-term
