Apparently, every time he opens a new golf course he has to play the first round on it so that he proclaim himself club champion. KIm Jong who?

Special relationship... oh https://metro.co.uk/2020/11/08/kama...xBTELvh2gSlTeIVqIdUhwAiEbXST6oDbvls_is1TYgtXY
Kamala Harris is an aggressive politician. She has critised Biden in the past both for his innappropriate dealings with the women who made complaints against him (he's pretty creepy that way, including with young girls - have a look at the videos) but also his record on race. Biden wouldn't speak to the BBC because he was "Irish". They're both gonna find that in an uncertain world, it's better to have friends than enemies. That is real politique
Do you think they both have a valid reason to find Johnson’s comments about their former leader and close friend abhorrent? I’d suggest any breakdown of relationship is down to Johnson alone, he hedged his bets and through his comments aligned himself with Trump and the republicans rather than been diplomatic.
Johnson regularly puts his foot in his mouth, speaking as an ex-journalist known for colourful expressions. He's equally forgiving. Look at what Gove said about him when he was competing with Theresa May for the leadership of the Tory Party. Biden and Harris will have no love for him, but it's one thing having a personal hump, another exercising the pragmatism of leaders of one of the great world powers. The fact is, beyond the politicians petty bickering, the US and UK depend on each other strongly on stuff like military intelligence for security. And, despite Brexit, there's a lot of views Johnson and Biden will share like climate change, Iran, Russia, China, trade and human rights Biden will go off to Continental Europe and Ireland before the UK, but ultimately he'll have to put the personal stuff aside and deal with the UK government

Since when are newspaper articles which are politically motivated proof of anything? The Internet is hopping with similar comments from extreme right wing nut jobs who make *****philia claims against all their opponents. The same Rambo types are standing on the streets of Arizona intimidating people with their display of arms. Strange that people like you are posting the same on here Goldy.
I'm not saying Biden is a ****phile. I'm just saying he has, at the least, been creepy around woman and Kamala Harris has criticized him for it. And I wasn't going out of my way to have a go at Biden, Finglas, particularly in light of his greatest success. I was merely pointing out that Harris has a reputation as a balls breaker and doesn't hold back when she has something to say
There is little doubt that relations between the two countries will be more strained now. Biden is a well known Europhile and as Goldy said, sneered at a BBC reporter: "BBC? Huh, I'm Irish!". But the relationship will continue as it did with Obama.
In fairness Col, I think his comments to the BBC were a joke. Did you see the smile on his face as he said it? I don't think he was being serious. Having said that, there is no doubt he will be a friend of this island and he will protect the Good Friday agreement which America is a signatory to. I think he will also continue a good relationship with the UK. Not as good for the UK as Trump but still a fairly decent relationship. I think the dynamics in the Brexit negotiations have now changed and Johnston is now under pressure to agree a deal knowing that there is no automatic trade deal with the U.S. On the other hand, Boris may prefer to proceed with a no deal Brexit. The choice is his. The E.U. know Biden is very pro-EU so they won't be too concerned with a no deal.
