Fats, I tore my Achilles at the end of September, then a week ago I did my rotator cuff just getting up in the loft and then this week I got a fairly spicy kidney infection. So now I can't walk very well, my right arm is currently just for decoration and it hurts when I piss. The only thing keeping me smiling is our league position
Missing the point. It makes no difference whether or not he was told to venture forwards - my point was he didn't and that made us weak down that side. He also misplaced a few passes with his left foot. Not that it matters as we won and were hardly threatened all game - I just wanted to clear up that I wasn't having a go at Stephens - he did what was asked of him to the best of his ability.
5th on MOTD I think...us going top for the first time in over 30 years is just not a big enough story to worry about
Just looked at the league table, no worries me had won more games than we have.. f### that's a weird feeling
Just the two mentions of 9-0. I thought our work rate was exceptional off the ball. Walcott playing central and picking the ball up and driving forwards was really good to see.
No clearly not. Where have you been? Obviously Manure winning or loosing is a priority, then Chelsea. Of course Palace are much more interesting and would you believe it Hammers are before us still The amount of bias in favour of the supposed big six really piss me off As an aside if a super european league was formed of the biggest clubs, how many fans of the clubs were not part of it would care. For me that would be a step too far, and i wouldn't subscribe to watch games at all?
Walcott really drove our attacks, so happy to see him playing where he likes to play, straight through the middle at pace. Top team, top team performance. Adams looks so dangerous now every time he gets a sniff of goal and we've got other goal threats all over the pitch. Defensively, we are looking very solid and I thought Jack did a decent job at fullback. My favourite MOTD moment though was OGS who still trotted out his rehearsed excuse about having to play in Turkey on Wednesday and then having to play again on Saturday lunchtime even though his team had just won the game and looked like they had bags of energy. It just proved just how out of his depth he is, and I really hope they don't sack him
Bloody hell. Just that. Never thought I'd get to tweet that Saints are top of the EPL even if its only for a couple of days.
Oh man that’s a fecking nightmare. Get well soon fella and then when you are well, may I suggest you’re not allowed out on your own, or without a safety harness best wishes and here is something cheer you up:
My mate who picked him up sent a photo of him in a cask broken wrist in a couple of places and may need an operation. In the photo he was in his Cask, Newcastle shorts and t-shirt, which I mentioned in my best wishes message.. He replied: “Toon Army” I responded: “Toon ill?” At least I made him giggle.
