Deserved win despite us trying to commit Hari Kari at one point.
    Entertaining game.

    Well another odd game.

Good to get 3 goals but the defence seems to have gone to pot!

    Cool penalty by Sarr.

Great play by Sema at times.

And now another annoying interruption for Internationals.
Until the next time, thanks for your company all. Enjoy the rest of the weekend where-ever you are locked down.

I subscribe to an IPTV service for £50 a year - it gives me access to more Sports channels than I know what to do with, Sky, BT, BEIN, DAZN, SPARK Sports, Astro Supersport, Ten Sports, Star Sports, ESPN, NBC, Fox - just to name a few. Also regular TV channels from around the world + films + TV series.

It makes lockdown a pleasure - there's always a match on somewhere, be it football, rugby union, rugby league, cricket...

They blew it though - 3-3 at full time, Boreham Wood won on penalties.

Nobody thinks we are playing as well as we should
We are second in the table, one of the highest goalscorers, and more players to come back
Deeney showed in ten minutes why we need him fully fit and firing on all cylinders

I thought that when Deeney came on he was looking sharp, and even trim for him. I am still not convinced that Gray is the answer to anything, although to be fair he does create some chaos in a slow second rate defence.

I will never presume to understand/analyse/ opine with any authority - I have no coaching experience - but it does seem to me that 3 CB's cause us more problems of our own making than 2 would. They keep on getting in each others way. I wouldl like to see a proper 4 at the back.
A bit more work on the final ball into the box and we'll be scoring hatfuls.
Good ( if obvious, even to me) replacement of Femenia by Ngakia. This kid can play ! He defends properly and doesn't (often) waste the ball going forwards. Once he came on, their left wing threat just seized up.
If we beat the rag and bonemen we'll be on 2 points a game. GT reckoned that would get you promoted.

    3 - 4 - 3 if we must keep 3 centre backs
    But I would prefer $ - 3 - 3

Basically get the ball out to Sarr and Sema and get them to cross into the box then make sure players are there to finish!

Many times the furthest forward player has been Cleverley in that situation. At some stage that needs to change.

I’m not the biggest Gray fan, but he made good runs, ghosted off defenders and was often in the right CF spot, and boy have we needed that.
But when Deeney came on I felt we had real intent to win, and maybe that forced the handball error from the defender?

I think we can all agree communication is key in defence - but perhaps his choice of semaphore was not in their best interests.
