Liked them talking before the match about although the league is a priority the thought is always there that if you get through there is a chance 9fvdrawing a big club in the next round. Well, we can't get Sunderland or Ipswich after this afternoon so the only bigger club is Portsmouth.

 

I was filtering in & out but I heard something along the lines of “clear ****”. I assume he meant “clear cut” but I may have missed “Barton” before his statement. In which case he was on the money.

He knew he’d done it & made light of it rather than just ignoring & carrying on. Fair play for that.
