I was going to treat Mrs. A to a mink coat... I hear there's going to be a bit of surplice in Denmark.
    I might get Boris .... a comb..
... and Donald Trump some paint stripper - or a calculator to help him count

What Donald would like is a nice East European or African country where he can make sure he wins a 'democratic' vote without the fallout he's going to get in the USA.

Don't you just love seeing the meltdown. He could teach Canute a thing or two, wouldn't change the result though.

My favourite part of the Presidential campaign, was the guy in Pennsylvania who told Trump to put on his Big Boy Pants <laugh>

It could yet go to extra time and penalties, if Trump sues.
What I can't understand is why it can take several days to count votes in a two horse race..... Surely it would make logistical sense for there to be two boxes ( Republican & Democratic ), for the voters to place their forms - saves "sorting " - and the forms could be counted by a machine.

I see the US like the EU, different states are like different countries, all with their own rules. Some states can count before the 3rd Nov, others can't count until after, due to laws of the state. Then think of the vast quantities of votes around 140 Million, also some of these states are handling postal votes for the first time ever. The problem with Trump, postal votes are alien to him, he chooses not to understand them and the strict rules under which they are processed. Will there be fraud, of course there will, no one is denying that, with 140 Million votes, you are bound to have people that try it on. What effect does that fraud have, on the count, zilch, absolutely nothing. As someone said on TV the other day, even if he went and found 10,000 fraudulent votes, which he won't, but for argument sake if he did, it would make absolutely no difference. The count has to take it's time, otherwise you get hot airdryers like Trump claiming fake.
