They deserved it all, outfought us and came with a game plan, something we won’t get with Parkinson

Didn't like the setup from the start and I'm not surprised we conceded by being outnumbered on the wing.

Not bothered about the result like I don't give a stuff about the FA cup this year.

No not at all. Just haven’t been on here much at all! He’s one manager I’d love here. Good football at this level too.
That said, I’m not going to be crying for Parkinson’s head over getting knocked out of the cup. He made changes to give people like Graham, Grigg etc a chance and they failed. Diamond may have had a decent game but still failed.

Also looks like the Power/Dobson combination doesn’t work at that level either!!

The cup's just a distraction IMHO. Yes, I wanted us to win, but that is the same for any game. We're not going to win it so let's focus on promotion, which is going to hard enough on its own.

Besides, what if we got to the third round and beat someone good? We'd be giant-killers FFS. The shame...

    That was woeful...
Parky playing for the loss... didn’t want the money for the next round on the off chance that it is used to pay him off

They are the worst 2 central midfield pairing for many many years.

Glad we never gave the young lads a chance due to fear of getting beat

You could'nt be more wrong, the senior players that have let us down time and time again, because they have it easy were at it again to day.

Let’s start with Phil Parkinson’s win percentage as Sunderland manager.

There’s no easy way to say this, but at a meagre 36% it’s unacceptably low. For direct comparison, his predecessor Jack Ross’s win percentage stood at 52%.

it’s so embarrassing and most of that team don’t give a flying F U C K about my beloved SAFC.

    A disgrace!!!!

look at Gareth Ainsworth and Joey Barton; Ainsworth of course linked with Sunderland before Parkinson’s appointment, and Barton who’s been in League One for the past two seasons with us. Both boast a League One winning percentage of 41%.

Absolutely disgraceful even for a scratch team , any side with Dobson and Power is going to struggle ,they go sideways and backwards all of the time , how they can be in the team ahead of Dan Neil and Embleton I will never know . The players on the pitch should hang their heads in shame being given the opportunity to play for SAFC and producing a performance and result like that -shame on you !!! PP is not without blame because he is the daft bugger who keeps picking them

It's not as bad as I first thought. Mansfield are 22nd in the league and I thought they were bottom. Silly me.

I literally burst out laughing when the ref blew the full time whistle. Well done Parky, tactical genius. Got to feel sorry for him, he was up against it from the start against the mighty Mansfield.
