Must admit its hard not to feel negative with this fearful clown in charge. I want to see something positive not the same regurgitated formations and tactics that have yet to deliver anything beyond walking football, Wyke on the bench, what does that tell us sweet FA.
I can't help myself either, a few weeks ago I swore I wouldn't pay a £10 in the hope it would in some way speed up the takeover but I can't bear not to watch and always cough up at 5 minutes to kick off. I'm on course to spend almost about £900 in stream passes + season ticket of course there will be some kind of a season ticket refund at some point...
Think there will be a few younguns starting on Tuesday night. If they don't Parky needs his bumps felt.
In his pre match press conference Parkinson said he wanted to get minutes into the squad players, so to get Graham and Grigg on together I think it's got to be 4-4-2. I don't like 4-4-2 because you tend to get overrun in midfield but hopefully with the energy of Diamond and McFadzean that shouldn't be an issue.
No chance is it 442. Formation is obsolete and the players on the pitch fit something more like a 352
I don't mind it in theory but it puts a lot of pressure on Diamond who isn't even a defender and McLaughlin who's a weak link imo. If I was them I'd be piling in on our right side, chances galore with all that space.
Your probably right, but Graham and Grigg together made me think how they are going to fit them in. Neither has any pace and won't be covering the ground that you would expect in a front three.
There won't be any pressing on the Mansfield back four from those two will there .... ... our best chance is to get players down the flanks and pull balls back for them.
Probably better but it's still a weak and inexperienced side to attack. Good thing it doesn't matter much
