Quite right - whoops That'll teach me to try and be funny from the hip ... So, @lardiman may well be correct about Sweden's GDP
Back in the day I used to buy NAD audio gear. Good stuff on a budget in my experience. now it's all digital & downloads I don't buy that kind of kit anymore. Just a few memory sticks to plug into the DAB unit in the car. MP3 is so convenient, but not tactile like in the good old days. Sorry, a bit off-topic (apart from the reference to the good old days).
8th November update; Tables at the top of the thread have been updated. Numbers are still very high in all the most populous European countries. Perhaps infection rates are stabilising in some. There is talk it's happening here. Perhaps a bit early to tell. Even next weekend might be inconclusive. But I believe in 14 days time we will see infection rates falling in the UK. Sadly, fatality rates may take longer to begin falling. PS: I think the Government is absolutely right to clamp down hard on stopping the mutated 'mink' Coronavirus from Denmark getting into the country. It is vital that this variant is wiped out (aside from a few lab samples for study purposes). It is a real threat to the vaccine research being carried out.
Not forgetting Volvo, though I can forget them easily. Abba on the other hand changed every aspect of my life.
Volvo's used to be so safety-orientated, they had side-lights that could never be switched off. They were just on all the time. Or at least all the time the engine was running. Is that an urban myth or was it true?
Good. Because (thinking about it) it's not much of an urban myth. I just heard it somewhere once. Never owned a Volvo myself.
The only time I considered buying a Volvo is when I lived in Slovenia 20 years ago where lights on all the time was the rules. In two years I never got used to this, or driving on the other side of the road.
Interesting fact. I used to work for a Volvo main dealer. The majority of customers were from the Jewish community. It's a thank you for Sweden's WW2 efforts regarding the saving of many German Jews. Not too sure if they're all Abba fans though.
