To be clear I'd be happy for their money and let them put red bull logos wherever they want. But the name is to far. Also I don't think you can guarantee success just because of a red bull takeover. There's every chance we'd sell our soul and it still goes tits up

 

Could FPP be waiting for this takeover to be fully completed. Clean slate & all that.

That sounds about right mate. These are relatively minor issues, but who is going to pay up the rest of the contracts of players no longer with us needs addressing all the same.

 

Sounds like any potential owners are doing exactly what our current clowns should have done

 

I wouldn't like it either but if it was either that or the likes of Donald until the end of time I'd have to bite the bullet.

Even if it didn't work out I don't think they'd leave us in the **** because as I understand it they'd concentrate more on developing the youth side for long term success rather than big name signings.

Charlie bragged they'd done the due diligence in less than 2 weeks... 2 years later we are still in a mess (I think).

If all that is holding up the announcement is admin and stuff does that mean the papers are signed and the takeover has actually legal happened ?

 

I’m sure that if the new owners are capable of running our club correctly with a fully structured plan in place to progress and move forward without lying and bullshitting, then the fans will be right behind them

 

I'm not usually pessimistic but if it was so close I would have expected leaks of who it is etc by now. Like whats happened at Derby.
