We're playing well enough but we need to convert our chances. If we had, we could have had a two goal lead at the interval.
On the balance of play many would say we didn't deserve to lose it. But football is about scoring more goals than the opposition and if you don't take your chances you don't deserve to win. We played better than we have for a while though.
Bristol were so there to be beaten - can’t recall Smithies having a save to make from the 2nd minute. Dreadful in their box. Deserved nothing for that reason alone. Just not good enough. City desperately need a goal scoring striker. Bristol surely will finish outside the top 6.
Weve dominated from minute 2. Shouldnt have even be close. Bullied them all over the pitch dominated the midfield but good sides win that comfortably. Most of that was attackers v defenders as they were very lightweight we were winning the tackles and 2nd balls but even though we created enough to win and chances should have been taken we should have created more. Weve put in some poor performances and deserved nothing. Tonight 3 points we should be taking with ease and get nothing and weve only ourselves to blame. If you dont score and open the game like that then you get what you deserve.
