Might not do much overlapping, but with Djenepo ahead of him, maybe not too bad a thing. Also means everyone else is playing their natural game, so minimal upset to the balance.
Now that is depressing - I watched that game in a sports bar on a Thai island - now I'm barely even allowed out the house! Hopefully the result is better this time round though!
Steve Bruce will obviously target our left, but I think we'll be ok. If we are winning with 85% of the game gone, we'll stop the goal count and claim victory.
Can see absolutely no chance of stephens starting at LB - likely to be Djenepo LWB or KWP at RB. I would rather us keep the 4222 formation which works so well for us going forward - Not so confident of this one but in Ralph we trust!
I hope Stephens is at left back. Looking at the line up, it could be 3 at the back. I really hope he hasn’t changed the system, as can see us being completely disjointed If so
Apparently it's the first game Ings has been unavailable for us and not been involved, since April 2019. Not bad for an injury prone has-been (said I, wrongly, on the day he signed )
My desire to win has just increased 10 fold with those sky pundits claiming we will struggle without Ings. Let’s stuff that comment down their throats. More important to me than going top to be honest
Oops!! So I did! Hope the gender brigade don’t jump on me, honest mistake and only just switched on and had the commentary in the background whilst cooking dinner!
