Nothing to do with his abilities at football DT, but as a man, and I held this view of him long before Sunday.

Most footballers aren't even men as we call them most are very very thick . also AT is french more than he is anything else.
I am ashamed to be English at times as we are hypocrites and laughed at by most. I am only interested in football players and what they do on the pitch .. off its they are often lost souls with too much money . I wouldn't waste my time off the pitch with most of them
Gramae Le Saux is a nice bloke however as are a few i have met ... **** this generation off the pitch ... all muppets AT is a saint compared to most

    Warnock - Taarabt no problem

QPR boss denies reports of a row with playmaker

By Matthew Skinns. Last Updated: October 4, 2011 10:45am

Taarabt was reportedly photographed leaving Craven Cottage at the interval after he was substituted, although the Moroccan has told Sky Sports News that was not the case.

QPR boss Warnock has also denied allegations that the pair argued, insisting he was not bothered by Taarabt's behaviour.

Warnock told The Independent: "It doesn't bother me. The dressing rooms at Craven Cottage are in one corner of the ground, the bench is on the halfway line on the far side of the pitch. I'm not going to insist he walks 60 yards just to sit and watch us lose."

Rangers were already 3-0 down before the manager sacrificed both Taarabt and Shaun Derry in a bid to plug his leaking defence.

"At half-time I was more concerned with my defence," continued Warnock. "I said: 'Dessie, you're off, and you are as well Adel.' That was it.

"People talk about him storming off. I didn't even know he'd gone. And he certainly didn't go to the pub for a pint as some have reported - he's a Muslim and doesn't drink.

"They want to be careful he doesn't sue them for saying that."

Meanwhile, fellow substitute Derry stayed to watch the remainder of the match with Warnock highlighting Taarabt's temperamental track record.

"They are different people" added Warnock. "Adel is young and emotional. He does these things.

"Last year he said he'd never play for Morocco again after he was made substitute in a game. Guess where he is now? Heading for Morocco to play for them.

"I'll see him at training when we get back and, with the rest of the team, we'll start preparing for the next match at Blackburn. My main concern at the moment is which defenders we'll have fit and available, not Adel.

"You're going to get days when Adel throws his toys out of the pram, that isn't a worry for me, I'd have more problem if someone was happy being subbed."

Taarabt to escape Warnock's wrath: QPR midfielder to be warned after storming out

By SAMI MOKBEL and NEIL ASHTON on 3rd October 2011

Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock will not fine Adel Taarabt for Sunday's disappearing act against Fulham but will warn the forward about his future conduct.

After being replaced at half-time during QPR's 6-0 humiliation at Fulham, Taarabt stormed out of Craven Cottage instead of staying with the squad.

But speaking to Sportsmail, Warnock said: 'Put it this way, if I was subbed at half-time after that first half, I would have left.

'There was nowhere for him to sit and watch the game, so I don't blame him for going. It's been blown out of all proportion.'

Team-mate Shaun Derry was also replaced at half-time but stayed with the squad.

Taarabt's decision to walk out midway through Sunday's horror show will not have helped him win over a clutch of players who want Warnock to take more of a hardline stance with the controversial Moroccan.

Several of his team-mates have expressed their disbelief at Taarabt's lack of work-rate on the training field and believe he is being allowed to get away with not working as hard as others.

One QPR source said: 'It's well known that Adel is not the greatest trainer at the club. But that has not gone down well with a few players. It's like Adel is being given preferential treatment, but the players - especially a few of the new lads - are not used to players giving anything less than 100 per cent in training.'

No problem: Warnock has no qualm with Taarabt, who was pictured by fans

The QPR squad had a day off on Monday but will return to training Tuesday, although Taarabt is on international duty.
Warnock hopes the situation will calm down before the former Tottenham player's return to club duties next week as he still sees the 22-year-old as an important part of his first-team plans.
The club's joint owner, Amit Bhatia, vowed to work with Warnock to get to the bottom of the club's miserable Sunday afternoon.
He said on his Twitter page: 'Will speak to NW more to understand how players are feeling and give confidence. I have every faith he will fix everything.'

Meanwhile, Taarabt is set to cause Warnock a further headache if his international return goes according to plan this week. Taarabt quit international football earlier this year after falling out with Morocco manager Eric Gerets.

But the former Belgium defender handed him a recall for the forthcoming clash against Tanzania and if the forward decides to call an end to his international exile then Warnock would be without him for the duration of January's Africa Cup of Nations.
Warnock is already resigned to losing Senegal full back Armand Traore to the tournament.

That bus stop has a great future ahead of it, one of the open top bus tours Famous sites; if they could only get OneSize to do his bicycle kick just as the bus approaches followed by a drinky stop at the pub Adel didn't have a drink in( I cleared that one by my legal people)

Traore will be missed, therefore, possibly 4 defenders to be signed in the window? There has to be some serious quality added at the back and front...

Just four months after saying he would never play for Morocco again, Adel Taarabt is in Marrakech preparing for a vital Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Next Sunday, the Atlas Lions host Tanzania in a game they must win to have a chance of topping Group D.

The QPR midfielder arrived in Morocco on Monday, despite previously storming out of a camp in June when learning he would not start an international.

"I need to apologise to my team-mates," he told Moroccan television on Sunday.

"I should not have done that and I must apologise on the field with a good performance.

"A lot of people thought my actions were unforgivable so to be excused is one thing - but now I have to prove on the field that I am worth the recall."

On the eve of Morocco's Group D qualifier against Algeria in June, the 22-year-old walked out of the squad after learning he would not start the match.

At the time, he said the national team was 'finished' for him and that we would 'prefer to represent my country through my club'.

However, four months later, the temperamental midfielder is delighted to have been offered a second chance.

"I did not expect to be recalled so soon after what happened, but it is a great pleasure for me," he told Medi 1 television.

"What I can certify is that I will not make the same mistake again.

"Whether I am picked form the start or am a sub, I will give my best."

Taarabt voiced mild concerns about returning to Morocco, wary of the reaction he would receive from the public.

But when he landed on Monday, Moroccan sports reporter Hakim Ghazaoui says the public's reaction was mainly one of surprise.

Taarabt missed Morocco's last Nations Cup qualifier, the goalless draw in Central African Republic, but is now in line to start Sunday's vital match.

Prior to issuing his apology to the Moroccan people on Sunday, Taarabt had been caught up in a row with his English club.

But QPR Neil Warnock has played down reports that Taarabt reacted angrily to his half-time substitution during the 6-0 thrashing by Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Morocco's Adel Taarabt The Atlas Lions top Group D with eight points, ahead of Central African Republic on goal difference, with Algeria and Tanzania both in the hunt on five points.

Only the group winner is guaranteed a place at next January's finals in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.

Maybe DT, but Swords does know goals in some two-bob friendly count for nothing in the real world.
