Is there any point in Steve Bruce's pressers? Are they even different? It's exactly the same every week for 18 months
A mood swing from Monday's 3-1 defeat then? Without Ings Sotton are a different proposition, we've got a chance here. We were OK against Everton (admittedly they were ****e though), would like to see Joelinton back in that no.10 role that he smashed Burnley in, and ASM back in his proper place.
Playing ASM in the central role isn't the right place for him, and he's nowhere near as effective there as on the wing. Just seems a shame to leave Joelinton out when we finally seem to have found a position he's good in.
Should be I know people are banging on about Fraser, but it would mean dropping almiron or max and weioked better before the changes last week... Fraser got an assist thanks to a fantastic pass from Lewis and a defection on his cross.. He didn't change the game as people implied because we were winning already and looked less like conceding before.. I think Fraser will have to wait for an injury or a drop in form of a few games. Almiron Lewis linked up very well last week
Only change for me would be Hayden for Hendricks but I'd never change a winning team so might have to wit for his chance.
Darlow Murphy Schar Lascelles Fernandez Lewis Hayden Hendrick Almiron Saint Maximin Wilson Longstaff should keep his place but I think Bruce will add another CDM in for good measure tonight.
Can’t see us winning today chaps. They are on good form and have a very VERY high press. A draw would honestly be a good result.

It should be Longstaff and one of Hayden/Hendrick but I think Bruce might try and be extra conservative tonight.
I see no logic in changing cm.. Last week was the 1st time we've had anything that functioned in that area for over a year.
