But it might go mouldy, so is it worth the risk? Just carry on drinking until being mouldy is the least of your concerns
Getting up in about 30 mins (not lazy I work US hours lol). I’ll let you know how the dishwasher game goes before I make my prediction. COYDishes!
So, just to cross over threads, which will happen first: Saints at the top of the league, or Trump admitting defeat? OK, here's a more difficult choice: First scorer? I'm going for Vestergaard, but I'm not saying which team will benefit
My memory of last year’s game is that we didn’t turn up. Expecting a better performance this time, and our first win against them since April 2016. I thought our record against them was better than that, tbh, but 4 losses and 2 draws in the last 6 meetings show that they have the edge in recent times.
It is actually a fact that red wine goes off if not consumed within 2 hours of opening a bottle ......well it is in my house
Haram the lot of you. One of the schools here, the drink of choice among the teachers is ethanol. If you have an import license you can bring in huge amounts of it. They say that it doesn’t give you a hangover, but I’ve never been that much in need of a drink!
"We're top of the league, we're top of the leeeeeague, we are Southampton, we're top of the league" Smashed it. Even had enough time to spray the top down
Going down a YouTube hole watching old matches between us. There’s a few crackers there. There’s this Pelle/Mane/Wanyama-fuelled beating. I remember going to this one. 3-3. A mental game. Alan Blayney on his debut conceding three but looking amazing. Leandre Griffit coming off the bench to score. Here’s the career of young Laundry Griffin in case you’re wondering “who the **** is that?!”
Reckon Newcastle's defence are gonna be under strict instructions not to touch a hair on anyone's body around the edge of their box. Who are our best divers? Is Tom Daley available for this game?
I think the team should engage in mind games during the warm up by pacing out from the goal mouth, then diving, just to make it clear where the best position for a JWP free kick would be
How can anyone not remember Léandre Griffit? Exciting player who never quite made it at Saints. We must have had a huge influence on his career though because he remains a big Saints fan to this day always tweeting on Saints results with genuine pleasure. He was signed by Strachan but left shortly after Sturrock's arrival - initially on loan. This was one of the worst managerial periods of our history (Sturrock, Wigley, Redknapp...) and I sort of wonder with a little more stability and a good coach whether we might have seen more of him. Just to keep this 'thread related' I do like the way Ralph talks down the possibility of going top of the league - there's nothing to talk about until we are top of the league. Then we can discuss what it means.
