Yep, I often wonder if I’d be happy finishing a close third in the Championship and losing the play-off final by the odd goal every season. I’d enjoy my football again, I think.

Very well said Smug & exactly the reason its unforgivable SD fookn that deal up ffs. The mags went on, obviously trying to play an angle, about for the sake of the region as a whole. Their takeover would not have benefited the region in the respect that Newcastle as a city has already had hugh amounts pumped into it while Sunderland has not. FPP taking over would have had a massive impact on Sunderland as a city & the region to a lesser extent. THAT will always be SDs legacy along with the other bollocks he spowted such as investing in him etc. We know he couldnt afford to take Sunderland back to the PL....but tell me any owner who was given the backing of the fans more than he was, record crowds for this level, digging in changing seats etc etc Extremely frustrating....then to turn on us when questions about intentions get asked....simply not acceptable & shows he is not capable of running a club at our level

Great post. Very interesting the amount of ‘investment’ going on and especially down at Seaburn on the seafront. Members of FPP couldn’t believe how cheap the properties were down on the front and now seeing a fair few houses being bought and renovated, 2 in particular just past Morrison’s look unreal and will cost an absolute fortune. Again maybe me reading too much into stuff but on of the properties where two houses have been flattened and going to be rebuilt on the from have ‘O’Brien’s demolition’ working on it.
I just cannot see ( apart from the bod ) what lads see in women like her looks like she’s been smashed in the face with a pan.
