Wycombe get a late winner at Brum Forest get an even later winner against Coventry 16th is ours......
Great result. Looked like we showed a great deal if improvement. Fantastic for Bonne & Dickie. Definitely ground that one out and have to say I saw an improvement in our passing. Let’s not dwell on any negatives and enjoy the result well done the lads and MW. U-Rrrrrrsssss!!!
Dickie man of the match for me. Brilliant interception and cross for the winner. Oh what a lovely feeling.
And the proverbial clean sheet too. Deserved. Thought we defended very well, and played some good stuff, too good for Derby anyway. Bonne's fresh legs and finish turned out to be a good Sub.
Off to bed a happy Hoop, early start and strangely nothing but tumbleweed on farcebook and text from the DCFC relatives as usual, I however will be a gentleman and will not take the p*ss................. NOT
God I love watching us beating Derby with a late goal when game looks like it's against us! When BOS went off had very little threat going forward, Willock looked weak, Bonne non existent, Chair couldn't see a pass to save his life, them suddenly Willock starts beating players, Bonne making great runs and Ball was awesome striding forward, and what a tackle by Dickie aka Hoilett!
Dom ball improved the side 2nd half.....got us forward with more purpose...... Love an (almost) last minute winner..... Up the R's
Just a random thought on Ilias Chair. Does anyone else think he seems to have a really immature personality? He sometimes seems petty and kinda cheeky on the pitch. Leaves a toe in on challenges, tries to win free kicks with a dive or bit of play acting here and there. He's obviously contributing goals and at times looks like he has the qualities to make a good players. However, he is not disciplined and sometimes disappears from games because he begins to play as if he's his own team. He often has very poor decision making when he has the ball, childishly wanting to take all the shots and not going for really simple passes that would have kept possession. Sometimes, when players disappear from a game, it's because they can't keep up with it or are getting out played. He just seems to isolate himself and stops working with his teammates.
