After all these years of Everton rolling over and having their tummy tickled when they should have been trying I am hoping that Utd get the win
**** me After the Leipzig game I was hearing Utd were going to win the CL What a difference a week makes wow
Yes, UEFA final v Sevilla where we were noticeably weak on our left hand side....................we did have Moreno at LB mind Kolo played LCB
I thought Atalanta dished up the worst defending this week, but I've just seen Man U. Seriously, wtf was happening for that first goal?
They had Henderson in goal and De Gea on the bench. To get Henderson to stay they must have promised him the cup games
The 2nd wasn't much better. They all got stuck on one side of the pitch. Also Mata showing his age, getting out run and easily dispossessed
Right now it would be great fun to see either of these teams being beaten by the other team for very different reasons. Both are the hated rivals though so it's difficult to want either to win. Logic says a Utd win because they're nowhere and it will push Everton further behind us; the Liverpool fan not wishing either to win says either a really really hopeless 0-0 draw that showcases both teams' utter lack of attacking prowess, or a really really shambolic 4-4 draw with stupid easy goals that showcases both teams' atrocious defending, I guess
Being brought up by Goodison to a family of Blues I've always had a bit of a soft spot for them. It's got more difficult down the years because of the number of aggressive anti-LFC BS who don't understand the difference between rivalry and enmity, but I still try not to get caught up in that. I'm happy for Everton to do well as long as we're doing better. At the risk of offending some of them, despite having a quality manager I still feel that they'll probably fall away during the course of the season so I'd rather they win because watching Utd flounder is more entertaining.
I'd rather Everton win. They'll not last the season anyway and watching the false hope is quite amusing, it'll also be funny to see more misery embarked on Man Utd Just hope OGS doesn't get the sack
I only saw brief highlights, so I don't know what led up to it, but how on Earth could a professional team get caught with all 10 outfield players within 35 yards of the opposition goal and let a runner just go free? Comical.
I actually think that the 4th goal against Barca was worse defending, purely because of the circumstances and the size of the occasion for 8 players and the gk all to not be watching the ball, i could not believe it - doubt you will ever see that again
You mean Origi's goal from the quick corner? That was a case of players falling asleep, but tonight's error was a complete failure of organisation and awareness.
