His work rate and effort are always there, he's just out of form. Unfortunately for him, Jota is bang in form and he's shown a willingness to do the battling side too. Imo, Jota as just taken Bobby's place in the side.
I think Bobby starts Vs City, he knows the positioning well and will stop them playing out from the back. Jota is certainly a great option now though.

Can't see any other decision but play Jota against City . Right now he is not just more of a goal threat than Bobby but probably Mane & Salah as well and we know traditionally that is their weakness though this season they aint been all that going forward .
well we can but doubt we will as think we will be slightly cautious because of the defence and hope to catch them on the break particularly as they need the win more than us .
Another thing that impressed me last night was him playing in the middle. And how well he done there. With Bobby in the middle you don't see mucn swapping, only between Mane and Salah sometimes for a few mins, with Jota last night there were moments when Mane was middle Jota left and Salah right, then mo in the middle Jota left and Sadio right. Was great to see.
Jota has the pace to play on the wing, and the intelligence to play centrally. He really is the perfect addition to the front line.
