Oh I thought that article the other day meant that he was over the injury, hope he recovers well next year.
Which is great. But then you factor in Diallo has a dead leg, and Smallbone is presumably still injured
For me JWP at RWB will leave us too light in the middle. Especially if Diallo is out too. But might be our only option. It’s not going to be ideal whichever way we swing it. Just try and ride it out for one game and hopefully after the international break we’ll be back to a more normal team -Ings.
Ralph has got results with depleted teams before but this one will test him. Newcastle really aren't that great and we should at least draw the game which would be ok.
You think that’s all that it takes? Left foot means he can play left back? He’s a big unit of a lad, coming back from injury. No chance he is gonna offer any kind of overlapping play up the wing. We saw what a nightmare playing a CB at fullback was last year with Danso, and also when Everton did the same last week against us. Much better to put KWP over there. At least he has the legs to shift up and down the flanks. Id put JWP on the right to pocket St. Maximin
Agreed. No easy games in the EPL and our record against them is not spectacular. I just want us to score first so I can get that screenshot
We could wheel Le Tiss out again, he was pretty handy against them (minus his Twitter account, preferably).
Haven't got enough CM's to move JWP to RB. And it would be a total waste of KWP to put him on the left.
Surely an intelligent, erudite man suck as your good self, Black, does not believe in jinxs and all that hogwash.. Even Geordies i've heard on the radio don't rate their team.
Really?...that has filled me with a lot more confidence for our chances and JWP will still be able to hurt them from set pieces.
But it will really hurt Ralph's system if he has to keep checking back onto his right foot to cross the ball. And the fact is we need JWP in the middle with Diallo doubt.
