Turf Moor is built on the site of an ancient burial ground, into which they've added the corpse of Attractive Football, which although it resurrects itself, is invariably killed again every other week by the followers of the Dread Dyche. There's also rich seam of witches there, although quite a few were mined a few centuries ago. This gives the creepy old dump extra value because despite the ground only being worth approximately 4 groats, the value to paranormal investigators and the makers of terrible TV programs about the paranormal, ancient aliens and cursed treasure is immense. I expect they've all chipped in a few quid each and borrowed the rest from Uri Geller. Maybe
Looks like Burnley's takeover may be going through. Chris Farnell with backing from an Egyptian businessman. Just read a small report on their takeover which said: "And they are about to get the financial windfall they desire from Cheshire-based sports lawyer Chris Farnell. "Farnell was in talks to buy Charlton Athletic earlier this summer but he failed the EFL's fit and proper person's test. "On appeal, that decision was reversed yesterday, giving the green light for him to take charge at Turf Moor. "Farnell claimed he made an administrative error which became a bitter dispute with the EFL." Another who initially failed the fit and proper test and then is allowed in.
I'd like the wealthy owners of a reputable business, preferably one that actually manufactures a high quality product, to buy us. And not die this time.
We must be looking more attractive to the potential new owners by the week at this rate Bet Gao wishes he had stuck another £10m on the asking price for a top 6 club instead of the same price as Burnley (still can't believe anyone would pay £200m for them tbh)
If we wait a few more weeks we might attract even richer owners when they see how far clear we are at the top of the table.

Trump? He might soon have plenty of time on his hands and he has suggested that if he loses he would live abroad. Just think if he was our owner he would have his lawyers on the case whenever we lost a match. The fact that most of us would never ever support the Saints again wouldn't bother him.
