    true mate, very true...

the old 'on paper' says we should have a squad that can compete with the best and should probably be better than most in this league, no disrespect to other teams but we have to be honest and with our history, size, fan base, facilities we should be able to draw the best available...now, is it still just that some teams see us as their 'cup final' and up their game, are we just complacement and being a wee bit billy big balls because of who we are?

from the day he signed i have liked onien, what the lad lacks in experience he makes up for with his eagerness, the joy on his face when someone scores is great to see...leadbitter has returned as his old, reliable self now if we could have a mix of thosetwo right across the pitch i might be able to enjoy a game again.

Exactly, at the moment we are a League 1 club with top half League one players and that's where we have finished the last two seasons.

It doesn't mean I am happy with our situation but I have to accept it.

i am really happy for a win any win, but the limitations of the manager and his selections has my head spinning, we can and have played better and need an alternative up top without just hoping it comes off we can dominate with the right selection

A win is a win, and I'm pleased for Wyke again but I feel this squad is capable of so much more and is being held back by Parky. Still though we are a point of second and for that deserves the benefit of doubt....until the next game

Sorry @Makemstine Roger but I wouldn't mind seeing Wyke and Grigg up front with Maguire behind them rather than alongside Wyke. Ideally it would give him the space he graves, Leadbitter sitting and maybe Scowen doing the box to box stuff and keeping the same shape

The major criticism I have of Parkinson is signing this lazy buffoon.

Your right, he looks overweight and as a result slow, looks more like a lumberjack than a professional footballer. I would have sacked PP for signing him alone but results wise we are doing ok but no thanks to this waste of space.

I am going to predict that he won't score a single league goal for us, I might be wrong by about 2 goals maximum.

Lincoln did the same last year - started well for a couple of months, then plummeted. I suspect the same will happen this year.

I think differently Roger, our squad isn't good enough to compete in the Championship but we will buy if we are promoted.
The pressure on us to get out of the Championship will not be as intense as getting out of this Mickey Mouse League.
In my opinion Parkinson's cautious approach will be more suited to stabilising us in the Championship because there are some very good teams there, but if we want to get back to the Premier league quickly we need to get rid of him as soon as we are promoted and throw money at the squad.

mate im happy for any front line up that can score constantly, I don't know if its Parky's training methods but a few of the players look fatter and not as fit as you would expect. I DO NOT WANT OUR TEAM TO LOSE, but what we have up front is not the answer is it Charlies fault maybe not but he is not athletic can't control the ball well and not very accurate shooting maybe playing with a nippy forward like Kimpy could be the answer with Wyke doing tap downs ill give him his due on headers he wins a few if he can knock them in front of quick forwards could be the answer.

So graham and grigg upfront?.. (neither have scored a goal)

2 youngsters on the wing?.. (neither with any league experience)

I would be delighted to be wrong but I just don't see Granny Graham having the desire or application to score. I have him down as conman who is here for a jolly up in the twilight of his career, as black and white as they come as well.

what do you suggest keep trying in a match with the same tactics that are not working, and not to sub until 80 mins which seems to be a Parky favorite.Im all ears for your reply or do you agree with his tactics selections and substitutions.

I think most of us would agree that we don't have much faith in Parky and even Danny Collins mentioned tonight that Maguire doesn't really like playing up top. I do think that the tactics are not much cop but on the whole this season, we've managed to get beat only once.

We've just beaten a favourite to go up, gone a point behind 2nd with a game in hand and our centre forward scored again, very good goal I thought.

I was hoping for some chat about the game ...

    ... never mind.

Whilst I don’t agree with everything parky does, he has a limited squad and had no money to spend in the summer.

With an absent owner and a lack of interest from inside the club, I think parky is doing very well considering the circumstances.

    we’ve lost 1 game in 10, and 1 point off 2nd.

The skills of the Californian Messi and strength of Didier Drogba Wyke got us that goal <laugh> It was a cracking goal and any other team, people would be raving about it
