We've played all the teams I was told to be worried about and are a point off 2nd place ...

... Milton Keynes at home next isn't it?

To me, comments like this isn’t support.

Wyke has scored tonight and has scored some important goals for us recently.

To keep knocking someone, regardless results and form is wrong.

As I said before the game, this team is what we have ...

... I'll cheer every single one of them.

I am not a Wyke fan, but if he notches up 20 league goals I will take it all back..

So, if we can just play against 10 every week we might be sound.

    Smashing result.

    cheers but...
i keep wondering is it just me...have i really turned into that crabby auld bassa i never wanted to be?... maybe i should really stop caring so much now but i cant help wanting a team i can fully get behind, rather than how some view it as 'we won, why not be happy?'

i really want out of this league and hope standards improve in the championship.

Don't forget the silly penalty, we did not score in open play against 10.

Roger man, you complained to @DH4 for making the Covid thread all about Boris and told him to post a thread about him ...

... this is the match thread which is far more important than Covid <laugh>

They must be realising by now that does not work, with this manager, all they will get are empty words and the Dan Neil treatment,

    yes I did.

At least samwise gives a bit of reasoning to his opinion. Yours is just an endless tirade of negative comments, without any reasonable substance.

what do you suggest we do? Replace Wyke, our top goal scorer for Grigg or graham, who neither have scored a league goal yet.

Great result and one point off second spot going into the break is a good position to be in.

Spot on Smug, we used to pride ourselves in getting behind players providing they put a shift in. Nos, Whitley etc. Reading some of the comments especially on RTG, it appears some would rather we got beat to further their agenda.
Any win is a good win especially against second place

mate you react on what you see and what is happening, we were lucky today we are not brilliant on the pitch but i'll take any win , love Sunderland and will till i die, before the last 3 games every man and his dog had the same opinion a few wins and it's all rosy again, but it isn't we can't have a forward missing chances like he does, Madison was the answer he wouldn't have missed those sitters.
