The more I think about this, the more I want the club to stand up and speak up about this. This is blatant discrimination in the media, against a player who has done nothing wrong. It's actually disgusting.

 

Tbf, the pundits on MotD2 did accuse Kane of deliberately playing the man, but he's Ingerland's golden boy, so always gets an easy ride.

I remember the Suarez days, much of the ranting against him for the on the field football antics (not the biting), was purely because it fit the "dirty south american" stereotype.

I particularly remember the racist media meltdown over a handball in a cup game against minnows because he kissed his hand after the ball went in off it, the same hand he kissed after every game.

Sterling was of course correct, much of the negative press toward him was rooted in racist stereotypes

 

With his persistent tipping and diving, Kane is one of the dirtiest non-Everton players in the game today. English though isn't he?
