There were plenty of games where either Tettey or Amadou had to deputize at CB. There were games when Lewis was switched to CB because we did not have cover on the bench. And even when we did have 2 CBs in the starting line up , it was never a settled pairing due to ongoing injuries. You may not have denied that injuries to CBs were a factor, but you certainly kept very quiet about it , always preferring to have a snipe at Farke instead..Our victory at Bristol was our best performance of the season thus far , and to undermine it by making excuses for the opposition , reiterates that you are not Daniel Farke's no. 1 fan . More often than not, your postings are controversial for controversy's sake. Put your fishing rod away and try and enjoy the rest of the season. .
Sorry, my point was very much that the debate about why we went down last season was for the past!! It looks a bit weird though...
Don't worry Mike, I enjoy every match. What I enjoy most is good football, whether that's a coach's well-conceived game plan ably executed by his players, or individual pieces of skill, or just whole hearted effort and spirit. The thing is, good football isn't the prerogative of any one team and can be enjoyed whichever team exemplifies it, even Bristol .......
