Not just with his history, but with how vital he is to us. Obviously no injury of any sort is welcome, but if he misses Newcastle (which seems likely), you’d expect he also misses the England games which would give him a nice bit of time off (assuming he’s fit for the Wolves game). He’s played a lot of football and there’s an intense Christmas period coming up, be good for him to rest the legs.
It's chaired by David Coleman, and Kenneth Wolstenholme does the commentary - "There's people on the pitch, they think it's all over" The programme was interrupted with some bad news about The Titanic...
The news about the scan on Danny's knee reminded me about a story from Australia: An Australian ws being interviewed about a car accident that he'd been involved in, and said: "The hospital gave me a brain scan, and found nothing"
I'm on a WhatsApp group with a group of friends who all support various teams. It is dominated by Liverpool fans, all of whom were screaming (YOU KNOW CAPITAL LETTERS) 'Oh my God, No!' when the news got out. Now getting 'Thank F***' messages. Red fans I know love Danny Ings and are really pleased to see what he's doing. If he can be fit to score the winner at Anfield this might change, of course. Best news today
Bertrand looked like it was a slight hamstring issue, so would say he would be back for Wolves assuming he misses Newcastle. Would expect Bednarek to be fine for Newcastle.
Who is that twitter bloke and why do we believe him? Fingers crossed he is legit and is privy to the Ings knee scan info as that is pretty much best case scenario if true.
Great news about Danny. If we’re going to do miracles this season (and I do believe in miracles), we’ll need him fit, but we’ll have to stay pretty much injury free throughout the squad. We don’t want to be without either Bertie or Bednarek for long either - even in this season where nobody seems that inclined to focus on defence..
As reported on TSP, not only is James Ward-Prowse just the 8th person to score two direct free kick goals in a PL game, he is the first EVER to score two in one half of a PL game.

Great news about Danny as he is so important for us as a goal scorer and in general play, but if (heaven forbid) he got a tweak and couldn't play for a couple of games, I'd be less afraid than I would have been last season. The team is looking good and there are goals elsewhere now Vestergaard is a goal machine.
Also, Ralph Hassenhüttl has now overseen 14 away PL wins, which equals Ronald Koeman’s club record. Koeman took 38 games to achieve that number, whereas Ralph has only needed 34.
Or Jannik Vestergaard in defence, instead of that useless lump Virgil Van Dijk! (Blue ink, but fading to black)
Every coach needs to get lucky with a couple of gems in his squad. Ralph has that with JWP hitting the form of his life, and Danny becoming the striker he’s always threatened to be.
