The story wasn’t even that he was worried about his parents, he wanted childcare in case he and his wife were poorly. He drove the length of the country when his wife reportedly had symptoms, he drove to Durham Hospital and then he took a little tour to test his eyes when the rest of us were locked in. There is no defence. None.

I'm not being wise after the event Janey. I was desperate for us to use our massive island advantage once the virus was raging through Italy and the continent. The government was still allowing unlimited air/sea travel and continued to do so ... ... it was absolute negligence and thousands have died because of it.
