2-1 FT. We finally win a home game in the league, despite largely playing **** and conceding a stupid VAR special.
Need to be far better than that going on from here. No idea how we're 2nd.
A very shaky performance overall and we sat back far, far, far too much.
Good to see Bale back scoring, though.

Pretty much the only good thing to say about that game is that we got 3 points. Should have been a clean sheet too.

MOTM one of Toby, Højbjerg, Regulion or Kane. Nobody was great though. Have to be question marks about how Jose is setting us up, Tanguy has no impact playing so far forward.

wow that was awful, but delighted with the win, and so pleased that Bale got the winner. Thought Toby played better tonight and Reggie did well too but not much to praise though to be fair they never looked like scoring a 2nd once we were ahead.

What an earth were you watching?! Kane was **** today <laugh>. Both he and Son were well off, they’re allowed it once in a while though I guess.

Hojbjerg just edged Toby and Reggie for me. Kept mopping up like he’s been doing, such a crucial role.

It was telling that our goals came from a daft foul on Kane and 2 of our defenders combining to put in a great cross to Bale. In midfield we're getting it all wrong. No pressure on Brighton's deep midfielders who were playing long balls and no support for our defenders in winning the second ball. I think it's the system as much as anything because most games our midfield does a poor job in defence and attack. There's good players there capable of more but it's frequently very cagey and drags the rest of the team down.

It was a great moment seeing Bale score again in a Spurs shirt. Massive shame no fans were there to enhance it though.

**** the refs. 2nd place COYS!

That's good coming from a supporter of a club who think playing in Europe is an away trip to Gillingham. No disrespect to the Gills.

Weren’t many positives other than everything in and around the Bale goal, Toby’s pass and Reggie’s cross were brilliant and that header was perfectly placed.

2nd place though, certainly can’t complain with that.

Oh, and I didn’t have to endure watching Winks, YESSSS!

Didn’t sound like a vintage performance but just like Burnley it’s a narrow win and 3 big points

Spurs ending the day in 2nd for the first time in the league since Feb 2019

I followed the game on Twitter, won't do that again, it's like a prison riot on there , more mancs and scouse venting their bile than spurs or BHA fans and most of the Spurs fans hated us <laugh>
