With Arsenal beating Man Utd 1-0, this will clearly get precedence on MOTD over Villa 3 - 4 Saints, as... er... It's between two top of the table teams? No?, Well, there were more goals? No?, OK, because every Armchair Football Fan will expect Arsenal v Man Utd to take top spot on MOTD, whatever the result. Cynical? Moi?
No chance. Tactical substitution by Ralph; weaken our defence, let in three and get bumped up to first on MOTD. He’s a tactical genius!!
Can't stop looking at the table. We may well drop a place in the next hour but even so, thanks Saints for putting a smile on our faces. Important not to get carried away, so for now I have only forked out for the open top bus.
'Assuming' their video analysis is correct (unlike VAR) it should be good news as the ice pack position makes ACL / MCL injury unlikely
If Ings knee isn't as bad as it looked, genuinely anything is possible in this crazy season. We are lucky to have one of the best players in the league playing for us. Really amazing to have a player that can create goals and assists out of nowhere like he can. I'd be chuffed to bits with a season with zero threat of relegation personally
The table does look incredible at the moment but I am not too convinced that, in the current circumstances, it will look too different when the season finishes. I think we will finish in a healthy position although the likes of City, Utd and Arsenal are probably a bit deceptive at the moment. The relegation battle won't change much. I did think West ham would go down but the bottoms three already look doomed. Surprised about Sheffield Utd. Thought they would have had more fight.
Did I really hear MOTD2 spoil the praise of Saints by saying JWP is ready to move up to the next level??
I thought they meant it as in ‘taking his game to the next level’ not that he should be looking to move on.
