    This from the OS "the late injury to Ings, who was replaced by Shane Long – hopefully no more than a precaution after a nasty fall on his ankle."
    This could be a smokescreen of Trump-like proportions (wrong thread, again?) but the 'official' word is that Danny went over on his ankle, not his knee (straw clutching?)

    The worry with new ACL‘S are hyper-extensions. They aren’t as elastic as old ones. If it’s hyper extended then likely to be a month or two of physio to build elasticity again. Fingers crossed

    `I thought the pain was down the side of his leg, a couple of inches below the new on the left side. I thought he landed on the heel of the Villa player, although I guess his leg also went under him. If we are only playing Newcastle, I’d bring Le Tiss back for that one. Not that fella with the big nose, but our version :emoticon-0178-rock:

    Ralph has said his knee isn't swollen which COULD be good news. Swelling is a sure sign of ligament damage.
