In the CASTrust interview Mr Sandgaard said that he was disappointed that more weren't watching the live stream (about 4,000). I agree. He's continuing to put a lot of his own money into the club, and though he's quite shrewd in the way he's investing it, it would be good if he got a more positive response for his trouble.
Many don't watch the stream because of the quality of the product, but I think the fact that we have hope with this guy is compensation enough. I must admit that without the social side, I sometimes don't bother myself...sorry Thomas.
It makes you think that one of our own long suffering fans is drawing up the odds. Fill your boots Rug.
I gave up at the bookies years ago after getting fed up with donating my hard-earned to them on a regular basis. I'd jinx Charlton, but good luck with your bets, especially on the US election.
I've been in a betting office just the once to put a bet on for someone else. I saw 6 paying in windows and 1 paying out. That told me everything about betting. I do realise it's not all about the money, but not everyone can walk away after one bet. Well done for breaking the habit Penquin.
I'll be watching tonight - balancing football with family life is a fun thing to do, and in our house, football is just me. But I've caught a couple of games, and the live streaming is great for those of us living abroad. Shame the atmousphere is gone, but I guess it'll be something to look forward to. I think this lot tonight are a potential banana skin - I imagine they will be parking the bus early doors so I'll go for a squeaky 1-0 win in a poor match.
Somebody pointed out a while ago that several members of many families may be watching live streamed games. So 4,000 streams could mean twice that many fans actually watching, or maybe even more. I've never used the service. Don't know how, and I have heard the quality is not very good. If it was £5 a pop I might think about it, but £10 feels like too much to me. Anyway, watching a match played in an empty stadium does not appeal. Perhaps some are getting used to it, but for me closed door games will never be more than a pale shadow of how football at this level is meant to be. 2-0 tonight by the way. Never going to get tired of that home scoreline.
Sound quality was ****e at first but seems ok now ,I’ll be watching it with my son ( he still lives at home ) and we split the cost , one pays for the stream and the other gets the beers in It works well
Another winner coming up. William Hill has us down at 8/1 for outright promotion. I have just put a grand on it.
