Find someone to talk to. It really does help. Not anyone from Norfolk though

Thanks, I may need to think seriously about that, and who I talk with.

I dunno, I have some very nice friends in Norfolk. Not everyone has webbed fingers and toes from there, if you look outside the Politcs thread that is :emoticon-0136-giggl

If I was from Norfolk I might take offence at that, but I'm not.

I ended up finding a really surprising ally in my German colleague who is at the same level I am. We have always talked fairly regularly but in the last couple of months opened up a little bit with each other on things that were troubling us. .. turns out they were virtually identical. That helped us both. I lightly spoke to a cycling partner about some specifics whilst cycling. Found it easier to drop in snippets in between breaths and dodging cars, as a more casual conversation.

Sometimes we find support where we’d least expect it.

The best (and possibly the hardest) was sharing the deep stuff with my wife. She knew and always has done, when I was masking stuff and patiently supported whilst waiting for me to open up. She’s an amazing woman *

    * and a bloody lucky one :)

No easy answers or solutions, accepting and providing support as as when needed and adapting to today's reality only way forward.

Watch it. My Great, great grandfather came from East Wretham in Norfolk before being recruited to work for Windsor Castle in the Great Park as a gamekeeper and I can assure you that although I may be a bit cantankerous and have many faults and deformities I do not have webbed fingers or toes.

Grandpa Godders was a gamekeeper?. Skulking about with a ferret in his pocket, taking potshots at poachers?

It all makes sense now <laugh>

Hope you’re feeling better today Billy

Sometimes we need to remember what brings us together on this board rather than what separates us

COYR Matchday and I can go to the pub with my best gal and my mate

I hope everyone else gets to see us today

Who leaked the lockdown to the media? My half crown is on Hancock. Probably so Pfeffel couldn't back out.

To help with my peace of mind I have recently tried to avoid visiting online forums near my bedtime, including this one.
Nothing worse than not being able to sleep because of a perceived or actual slight made by another poster.
Poor sleep pattern will have a bad impact on mental health.

When the BBC edit out important advice, like this, it is nothing short of sinister.
