Pulis has to show some better class than this in my view, it's no good moaning about refereeing decisions not going your way, when clearly some did, one tackle was definitely a straight red, and you should have been a man down, and if he couldn't see that then he needs to go to specsavers, his interview smacks of sour grapes, and excuses. And when he states that Stoke deserved something from the game, believe me he must have been watching a different game, all you did was punt it up to Crouch, and not very well at that either! I'd be furious if Rodgers gave such a bad sportsman like interview as that, obviously I'm pleased with Swansea's game, and we had some injury issues as well, but that's the nature of the game, anyway wish you boys all the best for the rest of the season!................

Thanks buddy, YOU did deserve to win I watched the game on-line.. we did NOTHING worthwhile apart from Walters shot/volley first half.

Usually, T.P. is gracious in defeat but that interview was ridiculous.

UNLIKE HIM we Stoke fans know when we've been well beaten by a better side on the day. Today was one of those. <ok>

GOOD LUCK, keep doing what you are doing right now, no problem you will stay up... EASILY!

Potts - I was calling Pulis a hypocrite for saying that the Williams tackle was like a rugby tackle when he criticised Wenger for making similar jibes about us.

I thought the whole interview smacked of "Wengerisum" Williams IMO did tug at Walters but a certain Robert Huth does it every week. And, I can NOT remember ONE inccident when he has done that.. when the ref has given a peno agaisnt us? It goes on week after week and my view is...

Leave it to the ref's to deal with it!

Plus, when he said Wilko's challenge wasn't malicious?? I think it was.. when you consider the Everton player being sent off for winning the ball. Wilko never got even close and was rightly booked Sgt. IMO, he was lucky not to be given a red card. On the other foot... Crouch was booked for simply going for the ball.

Can not remember the player's name but the guy who took Pennant out on the far touchline, that too was worse than Jack Rodwells tackle the day previously.

Bad result, not a fantastic performance and then a T.P. excuse excercise.. Sgt it's simple really. We were NOT good enough. WHY he doesn't just say so..

    Is beyond me!

Because Potts, he is an arrogant SOB who is believing his own publicity.

I remember during the days of Beattie and the naked head butt (sounds like a porno doesn't it) when he came out and said:

"No big time charlies at Stoke"

Since then there has been only 1 big time charlie - Pulis.

I was trying to find out just how many wins AWAY from home we have had since promotion to the PL, got fed up then my internet exploded.

I am sure our resident statto knows - thanks Sgt!!

Well as said before - too many times, I am not a fan, never was, never will be, I said mid last season, no matter where we end up or what we do, I do not want to see Pulis at Stoke next season, too late so I will reiterate, No matter where we end up or what we do, I do not want to see Pulis at Stoke next season.

Once the foreign teams suss out our play, we are doomed, it must seem like football from Mars the way we play at times.

Anyway, I suppose that I will get the usual flak anytime soon, about:

1 Look where we are now
2 Look at where we were 4 years ago
3 First cup final in 7,000 years
4 Ex England footballers in the squad

and so on and on and on and on and on ad infinitum

I don't ask for much by the way, as replied on another thread, what do we expect of Pulis: to reiterate:

1 Set up the team properly away from home and LOSE the negativity
2 Pick players in their correct positions
    3 Drop your favourites

    and

    4 Resign

It is NOT just the Sunderland and Swansea results, not just the lucky point at Norwich, not just the lucky 3 points at West Brom

IT IS FOUR BLOODY USELESS YEARS AWAY FROM HOME

Rant over - until the next time

Nice to see you back Nik and there will be no flak from me mate! I have tried to be constructive and positive since the start of the season and in spells we have looked like a football team, but you cant paper over the ever spreading fundemental cracks in our team/squad! My concern is as usual, it will be "next transfer window" and all that sh1te, its getting a bit like that awful but very memoriable advert - Ariston and on and on and on and on.......................................................................................................

And a very good day to you Smithers - thanks for the support, I wonder where Grantham Potter has gone, he was always a vociferous anti Pulis merchant wasn't he??

I really do NOT want to be negative, honestly do not. I just cannot believe the utter arrogance of the man, it's a good job form him that Mr Coates thinks that the sun shines out of his elbow eh?? or Taxi for Pulis

    Have a good day pal

F--k me, I was a bit down after yesterday but coming on here I`m almost suicidal !! Thursday night we`re worldbeaters, now we`re one of the worst teams to have disgraced the premier league. Forget the successes and number of games we`ve played already, forget that key players are obviously carrying injuries,Tony Pulis is the worst manager ever, according to some, we`re ****,end of!! I`m going to the garage to get that rope, and I may be gone for some time !!

away from home we are atrocious. Our home form is currently stunning.

On the plus side, 2 games lost out of 14 is a good start to the season. 5 pts from games against Utd, l'pool and chelsea. Our best results are at home yes, always will come from home.

Pulis is usually gracious in defeat - he's had one moan. Let's just get over it.

We've got the international break now, enough time for the squad to have a break, to relax and come back stronger. Granted, gutted about this result, but it amazes me that it's our most successful period in over 30 years and people are calling for the managers head!

We're unbeaten home AND away in Europe, the furthest we have ever been in a european competition period! 2 bad results so far this season and it's 'let's sack Pulis'. I'm annoyed a creative midifelder wasn't signed in the summer, as Palacios I don't think is up to standards although he is better than we had.

But let's just take it on the chin!

Could be worse, we could support Arsenal.

Joe - if you are still with us mate, now you know how I feel after FOUR years of absolute of watching more or less garbage.

My original No 4 - Resign was followed by a <whistle> - just wishful thinking!!

As said guys in my recent posts - LOSE the negativity, the picking of favourites, picking players out of position - that's all.

What the hell is wrong with THAT? When we CAN play - as against UTD.

And another thing, surely NOBODY can deny that WE have gotten away with some VERY dodgy penalty decisions this season, all our fearless leader says is you win some you lose some, soon as a decision goes AGAINST US, he goes off on his Wenger/Dalgliesh impersonation.

    What a man <doh>

Another 31 points remains, as always, our first target guys and I have little or no doubts that we will reach it before March.

How many of us would have taken 9 points at this stage from the beginning of the season?

All of us, with open arms! Like I have said, I have been full of praise for our results to date and thought we looked decent and flowing aginst both United and Spurs and were deservedly dogged against Chelsea! However, I am realistic and understand that we could ahve shipped 3 against Kiev, 3 agaiinst liverpool and how we got results at Norwich and Westbrom is something from area 51! So our form suggests that in reality the likes of Norwich, West Brom and |Swansea etc are going to be tough opponents this year and being unable to beat those types of teams means you will always be close to relegation! I dont give 2 hoots about Europe or the carling cup in fact if anything they are relegation ingredients (Brum???), all I care about is 45 points and some consistent and balanced play! Beat those teams around you and compete with the top half! We dropped siginficant points to all the bottom half teams last term, lost as more games than we have an all our prem years and finished 1 win from the championship! Class is permant and form is temp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
