Following the science seems to depend on who you last spoke to....and there are more factors than just the disease. Be very interesting to see the views of people in 100 years time.
I'm pretty sure Neil Ferguson's is a scientist. I'm pretty sure he just said we would be the same issue on Xmas if we locked down 4 weeks ago or if we lock down now, and depending on the scientist, you get a different answer. Also, others scientists saying data changed in last 2 days... I'm still amazed to see Farked post in Politics thread, about hoping Boris having a breakdown, hasn't been warned, but then again, maybe I'm not, poor moderating. I think I'll log out now as I dont want to appear as Boris's lovechild with Cummings (pun intended), but people, get a grip, hear with your eyes, not with biased preconceived views
I’m ok thanks St Jabb... I’ve had some wobbles and stressful situations during this last 7 months with work and how I handle certain situations. What I have done is try to talk to people about it. My obsession with a bicycle has helped me be end. An amazing wife and family too. There’s nothing drastic at all, not on the verge of being locked away in a darkened room, I am just very self aware of my own weaknesses and the things I don’t deal well with, particularly with my job. Unfortunately, the Covid situation has left a lot of those exposed and brought on some stressful moments. It took me a while to talk to people about... you know because I’m a stubborn bloke. I urge anyone feeling a little down or off their normal form to take that step and talk to people. messge a stranger like me if you want to. It can help. however, that is nothing compared to those who have lost jobs, had to earn less and are fighting in the frontline, so I always have a check on myself. thanks for asking.
Pfeffel' s broadcast cynically timed so that they could switch at exactly 710 when the Come Dancing audience would leave before he was asked the awkward questions. Keir Starmer got it spot on three weeks ago.
I'm pleased you are ok. I have to admit, I woke up this morning and had the worst wobble with all this, and found it hard to see a way through it, and to see the end of the tunnel.
I'm with Billy on this - sometimes things aren't so cynical and are what they are. It was delayed as there was a lot to sort out. Let's leave it at that.
He wasn't concentrating while the scientists were talking (or he was asleep). They startled him when they said "Back to you Prime Minister". He'll be taking all day Monday off in lieu now.
