Barnsley poor Mooney says. Well as we didn’t test their goalie once goodness knows what that makes us! Maybe that is the trouble- too arrogant? Thinking we just have to turn up to win.
The top players aren’t performing and the rest aren’t playing well looking uncomfortable on the ball or taking too long.
Especially near the opposition box. Sema in particular was guilty of dithering around too much - in a game where, for a change, we had players in their box looking for the cross. At least Sarr tried to cross - they just mostly all went astray. I really don't understand why coaches wait until the last 10 or 15 minutes to freshen things up in attack - it was surely obvious before half time that something needed to change there.
Sema seems to have promised something on his return, but now appears to be reverting to type and again not living up to his potential (or hype).
I watched him a few times last season in Italy, and he rarely lasted 90 minutes. He looked a new player when he returned, but today showed little.
Doesn't look suited at left wing back. Sarr was a bit unlucky I guess but he got frustrated at the end. Even that Wilmott chance which went just over was a poor miss as he didn't head it well! Hit his nose.. Did Gray touch the ball after coming on?
