It was Wheatsheaf who said 10th November, but I actually think he originally said “early November, by the 10th at the latest” or something along those lines. which would now tally it seems with the snippets of what prehab, Magnus and smug are also hearing
It's a bit tedious tbh. Prowling the internet so you can shout 'Aha' at strangers ... ... and not in an Alan Partridge way.
Well I am falling out with everyone Sarge, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you all. Supposed to be going to Gran Canaria tomorrow, had it booked ages ago after our Mexico trip was cancelled and it after being added to UK safe travel last week, looks like Boris wants to lock us down next week. I’m not sure how that would affect holidaymakers though so **** it. I’m off to East Mids later today, listen to the footy on he way down and then wait for the announcement some time next week, fingers crossed
Aye, reeto. My dad was a meter reader for NEEB mate. We lived in a two bed semi in Carrville. Anyway, did me no favours. Left school with no qualifications at all. If it was me running the budget in my house then I would’ve ended up divorced and living out of a cardboard box years ago. As it is it’s the wife who runs it so that’s why we were able to send our son to a private school. Although the fees here are nowhere near as crippling as they are in the UK.
I bet he was the bastard who nicked me for speeding approaching Welford back in 1992/3. Snidey get, I still couldn’t tell you where he was hiding, but as you head back towards Leicester, national speed limit, sneaky small bend, village hidden by an embankment, then bang 30. It must have been him, I mean he was in Northamptonshire Police, stands about 5ft 6, making it easy for him to hide, plus he’s a toff and that
I’m not personalising it. People don’t agree with me I know. I have two mates in London and Devon who work in private schools. However fee paying schools are an inequality, it’s only a privileged few who can afford them - many /most don’t have that choice- and in many top ones they are told they will be leaders and even told they are the privileged few. Methven sweats privilege and superiority and we are Sunderland and don’t and shouldn’t abide that ****.
I was in the army then Con. Based in Abingdon just outside of Oxford. Met a really nice bloke there at the local conservative club. Pretty sure he said his name was Charles but preferred Charlie. Wore these vile coloured trousers iirc.
I’ve just realised that Australia looks like a cat-dog. You have scooby doo looking West and little Benny the Ball peering towards Tasmania.
I used to go into all of the military bases around Northants/ Oxford, even the American Ones. I bet you were the one who took the piss out of my name claiming I could be PIRA
American sentries would grill you, stare at you menacingly, then amazingly come out with “have a nice day”. I thought they only said that on TV
