Anyone got a problem with it? Anyone such a snowflake fanny as to be offended by us showing respect to the fallen? oh.. just those vile ****s at the BBC then.... Appreciate it may not have been the presenters decision... but they could have said **** off.
Anyone who wishes to demonstrate a markmof respect by whatever means should be allowed to do so. Wearing of poppys has been done for years and anyone who is offended by someone else wearing one can **** off. Next they'll be banning black armbands cos they are classed as racist.
I actually heard some thick bitch on bbc news refer to poppies as political symbols the other day. Gobsmacked.
Not sure anyone is actually offended by the poppy. There is a perceived offensiveness but it really doesn't exist.
If you're going to make sweeping statements like that then at least warn Rachel Riley that Captain Chaos is heading to her house as we speak.
I agree with the wearing of poppies and what they represent. But does any one else cringe and facepalm, as I metaphorically do, when I see a poppy in a car grill.......in July. It’s like “yes you gave to charity once but do you have to keep (visually) mentioning it all the time”.
