They’ve royally screwed the club and it’s honestly a crying shame. But we have no idea what their political leanings are or where they come from. In any case, both are immaterial to what they have done at SAFC. I’ve never once heard Ellis Shorts voting preferences referenced and look how badly he did. What about Bob Murray? Who did he vote for? Did it matter? It’s a typical retort used by some which they think in some way validates their dislike of SD and CM as they’re not working class like them. What it does kind of do is validate what CM allegedly said at a supporters meeting about people from the north east not understanding how business and finance work.
