You've now mentioned it 50% more than I did, Dickhead... please stop ... we wouldn't want it to stick, ... and you are fooling nobody with your thinly veiled campaign ...
Does he have to? He picks his favoured team, they can't all play. The idea that a manager fits his team around a precious player, rather than the players fitting into a managers ideas, is just weird to me. That Talk Sport shock jock **** was at it the other week, Durham, saying Mourinho has 'failed' in his job by not picking Ali and working with him. Some guff about England thrown in for good measure, as of Jose is going to care about how it benefits England.
He’s actually ok. Was brilliant on loan in L1 and looked good for us a for a while but then his confidence just completely drained away after a knock and a couple of mistakes. Has the ability for sure but seems a bit soft.
I stated earlier that in form he would. A move could reignite his career. Would be happy for it to be us taking a punt. we need someone to break the lines from Midfield and that’s his special party trick. he still has it all, just fallen away.
Levy was providing him with funds and backing. It was Poch that was rejecting players. One of the biggest differences I've seen between Poch and Jose so far is their handling in the window with regards to new players. Poch only ever wanted his first choice target, if they were too expensive or didn't want to join he wouldn't take anyone else. That was evident in the 18/19 window where we signed no one. He wanted Ndombele that window but the deal was impossible to do, we could've signed Tielemans but Poch rejected him and he was rumoured to not be in favour of getting Grealish either. Jose on the other hand seems to have a first choice target and then alternatives. He'll accept the alternatives if the first choice can't be signed and that's where Poch went wrong because the alternatives can still improve the team/ squad.
It's almost as funny as the time I put Sucky in a barrel and told him I'd pissed in the corner I'll stop now in the interests of topic integrity
Michail Antonio out, gutted, was looking forwards to seeing him bully the Liverpool defence. Southgate needs to call him up, no other English forward offers what he does, perfect player to come on when England are struggling to break down a defence, he'd just bulldoze through them. No chance with Southgate though, he'd change it up with a like for like substitute
Might prove to be a blessing in disguise, as the RS only have one senior CB available & assuming Haller comes in, he should dominate them in the air.
