Don't particularly like the guy personally, but I can't deny his talent.

Compare that to Schumacher - he won 29.55% of his races. Hamilton is just a magnificent driver.

he is, but he's also raced in an era of unmatched reliability, and always had a race winning car.

He has, but you have to earn the right to drive the best car. And he's always been faster than his teammate. When Rosberg won it Hamilton had reliability issues and too many DNF's cost him.

Brilliant from Lewis, no doubt. Charles DOTD for me though. Again. He’s stupidly good and doing a Max-Albon on a 4 x champion.

Vitaly Petrov was due to be the driver representative on the FIA Stewards Panel in Portugal, but had to return home following the (alleged) assassination of his father.

Bit of rugger this weekend, the Welsh are in an unfortunate place according to the Guardian's Paul Rees "struggling Wales are caught between two stools". Let's hope they don't have a stinker.

England may have done enough against Italy to become 6 nations Champions. The preferred outcome of France v Ireland would be a low-scoring draw, to minimise the number of points (inc bonus points) for either country. Currently 7-7, so no further scoring by either side will do nicely.

A France win by less than 32 points also gives England the title.

There are several scenarios which mean that England are champions, but a France-Ireland draw means that England win by something other than having a better difference in points scored. :1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down:

    25-13

What we don’t want is another France try, because we’ll be level on points then.

    28-20

What we don’t want is anyone else to score now.

An unconverted try, then a drop goal/penalty for Ireland would mean a 28-28 scoreline, which would suit England very well ;)

(I'm saving the "What we don't want" statements for tomorrow's match vs Villa - eat your heart out, Whispering Dave!)
