Yep, many many minutes. Kick off 7pm, 1-0 in the second minute, 3-1 prediction 8-25pm. Worse than Steve Rico!
No, I'm telling you I could order one in less time than it takes you to make one, which was your claim...
Now I’m wondering whether it was where we used a lot last year (a ****ing lifetime ago!) Don’t recall Fauno Bar but we were in what claimed to be the oldest something or other ever blah blah...****ing amazing pizzas though. Need to go back to check
I reckon Paddy Power should send me a big fat cheque, even though I didn't actually have a bet. It would be great publicity for them...
None of the pizzas you get here are anything like the ones you get in Italy. I used to go to Florence twice a year and there was a little cafe on a Piazza that did a pizza and a beer for the equivalent of about £3 (it was back in the days of the Lira, so was a while ago) and it was absolutely fantastic. The Hotham Arms have a pizza oven and theirs aren't bad, though they only do them at odd times (I think it's only Monday nights and Saturdays from 4.00pm to about 6.00pm).
I found a little cafe in the back streets of Venice and it was cheap compared to ever other place and loads of locals eating there. We ordered pizza and a few minutes later two fantastic pizzas were on the table. As I finished mine, I glanced over to the kitchen and saw the “chef” open a pizza box, and put a shop bought pizza into the oven. When I paid, I asked if the pizzas we had were from a shop. The girl said that they used to make them, but the supermarket along the street makes better pizzas and they are cheaper to buy than make. They get an order, walk to the supermarket and buy a fresh pizza. Four years later we were back in Venice and we went back to the same cafe, my sister said that the pizza she had was the best she had ever tasted. Oh how we laughed.
Oh, when you said order I assumed you meant the entire process. Even then, the equivalent of that would be “I fancy making a pizza”. That’s my order done, much quicker.
